Join us for an opportunity to give back, connect, and create a positive impact. Volunteering is a chance to share your time, talents, and energy. Whether you're looking to meet new people, gain valuable experience, or simply help others, your involvement can make a world of difference.

We have volunteer opportunities year-round in our network of 21 community gardens. Gardening and volunteering are for everyone, though work may include garden chores considered strenuous for some. Please be prepared to bring water & sun protection and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

Come and help with a variety of garden projects! We'll be clearing out weeds from the plots and pathways, working on the compost and more. Activities for all skills and abilities!

Help Presidio work on their regular garden tasks and keep the space beautiful! Activities will include clearing weeds from plots, pathways and common areas, maintaining the compost, trimming trees, and other tasks as necessary.

Come and help Rincon Mountain garden build their new rodent defense-fence! Tasks will primarily include unrolling and attaching aluminum flashing to the fence, as well as moving woodchips and compost.
